Refunds & cancellations

Eligibility

Fees paid for advisory work may be refunded in full or in part when cancellation or rescheduling rules below are met. Informational website content is free; no refund applies to browsing the site.

Deposits

Some engagements require a deposit to reserve dates. Deposits are credited toward the final fee. Deposits become non-refundable if you cancel within five business days of the scheduled on-site start, unless we cancel or we agree in writing that a serious impediment applies.

Cancellation by you

• More than ten business days before the start date: full refund of fees paid for the unused engagement, minus any non-recoverable travel already authorised in writing.
• Five to ten business days before start: 50% refund of fees paid for the unused portion.
• Fewer than five business days, or failure to attend (no-show): no refund for that reserved day or session, unless we rebook within thirty days on mutually agreed dates.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without penalty when you give at least five business days’ notice. Later reschedules may incur a reasonable administrative fee disclosed before confirmation.

Cancellation by us

If Workspace Rowanfield cancels an engagement for reasons within our control, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled work or a new date at no extra charge for the same scope.

Work already started

When observation, interviews, or drafting has begun, fees for completed stages remain payable. Unused later stages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis agreed in writing.

Materials prepared for you

Custom findings briefs, playbooks, or schedules already delivered are non-refundable. If materials were partly prepared but not delivered, we may charge for documented time spent or waive that portion at our discretion.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@workspace-rowanfield.click with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval.

Exceptions

Statutory consumer rights under South African law remain unaffected. Force majeure events may justify alternate arrangements without penalty to either party where performance becomes impossible.
